FULLERTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InterComputer Corporation announced today the release of PrivateBusinessDrive 2.0, the company’s insured secure digital interoperability solution for both small and large businesses. PBD 2.0 can be mapped to any enterprise applications that permit it. This version has been pre-mapped to the QuickBooks™ and Sage 50™ accounting applications for purchase-to-payment, automated business partner transactions. All messaging within PBD 2.0 complies with ISO 20022 XML standards.
When used in conjunction with the PrivateLine 1.0 Contextual Chat feature, documents can be viewed by all parties involved while using the tChat feature among the participants. All chat content is archived along with the documents, images, or other files the users are discussing. This “in context” chat feature has already proven to dramatically increase the efficiency of decision making processes, problem resolution, and purchase negotiations.
“When the demands of large and small businesses dictate a higher degree of trusted automation and connectivity for communications and/or transactions, PBD delivers both within the fully insured IC IOS™ environment. Like our PrivateLine™ solution, it avoids all of the inherent risk in the https and ftps protocols used by legacy browsers, standard e-mail, chat, instant messaging, and file transfer technologies,” said Scott M. Volmar, President and CEO of InterComputer Corporation. “Additionally, PBD offers sophisticated, automated, insured connectivity among disparate enterprise systems. PBD also enables E-sign Act-compliant, strong, auditable electronic signatures on any document transmitted via the IC IOS. When used with the AuthoriTree™ feature, it is the ultimate in digital SARBOX/GLB/HIPAA compliance.”
This is accomplished by mapping the corporate software applications of interest to the IC IOS in a way that enables the IC IOS to act as a swift, accurate, trusted “translator” between them. In this way, Company A and Company B can enjoy the cost savings and speed of automated data exchange between their accounting systems even though one uses Brand A and the other uses Brand B. The same principle applies to any popular corporate applications including as accounting, purchasing, CRM, ERP, logistics, sales force management, etc.
“Our patented technologies, usable over a standard Internet connection, enable us to drive the risk in the system down to a residual level where we are able to obtain underwritten insurance coverage to protect all parties against hacking or any other kind of cybercrime,” Volmar said. “This means that all users of insured InterComputer systems have coverage against all forms of cybercrime, including the full face amount of any transactions and third party liability.”
“PrivateBusinessDrive automatically enforces the requisite user identity and authority attributes, and the data itself is fully integrated with all other layers of protection from end-to-end,” added Michael Rowland, VP Marketing. “It also provides automatic enforcement of the organizations managerial, legal, and regulatory policies and practices. PBD allows management to limit the type and frequency of human access to the system as they wish, thereby preserving the integrity of the corporate chain of authority.” This approach eliminates nearly all errors normally caused by casual human error and allows comprehensive oversight by management. As a result, users may make electronic payments with full remittance information in an insured environment, via the ACH system or forthcoming real-time payments announced by the Federal Reserve System.
PBD client companies provision employees with enhanced X.509v3 digital identity certificates and authority certificates (defining the nature and limits of what authorized employees can do) to access, change or otherwise exercise control over internal digital operations for all IC IOS-based solutions. Every message is guaranteed secure, fully auditable, and automatically compliant with all applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
This insured, automated connectivity can deliver dramatic efficiency and cost benefits to all PBD users.
