SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Océ, a Canon company, has partnered with Intel Security, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions worldwide, to further strengthen security of its PRISMAsync controller driven production printers. Intel Security will be providing McAfee Embedded Control to be included on PRISMAsync printers.
Today’s sophisticated printing environment is much more than just a network of computers. Devices such as printers, copiers and other peripherals are part of the Internet of Things (IoT) and are also at risk to cyber attacks. These devices play an important role in business productivity and run software enabling the transmission, reception and storage of confidential – sometimes critical – data.
