American Osteopathic Information Association Taps Matthew Kremke to Head Business Development

Veteran American Medical Association Leader Will Focus on Physician Engagement, Strategic Partnerships

CHICAGO--()--The American Osteopathic Information Association (AOIA) today named Matthew J. Kremke vice president of business development. The AOIA is an affiliate of the American Osteopathic Association, which represents the interests of more than 123,000 osteopathic physicians (DOs) and medical students.

Kremke is charged with enhancing practice management and physician services for members, while expanding the AOIA’s activities in the area of health information technology and its relationships throughout the healthcare industry. Previously, Kremke served as director of physician engagement at the American Medical Association. During his tenure at the AMA, he also managed the organization’s portfolio of physician and practice services to generate more than $5 million annually in non-dues revenue and over $900 million in annual sales.

“Mat Kremke has a 15-year track record of identifying the products, vendors and services that physicians want and he knows how to deliver them in a way that truly adds value for members,” said Joshua Prober, AOIA executive director. “Mat also understands the benefits that osteopathic physicians bring to the organizations with which we work and will be an extraordinarily effective ambassador for the profession.”

During his tenure at AMA, Kremke directed strategic partnerships and advocacy, and held critical roles in the organization’s healthcare education and consulting service, business development and operations. He received a Master of Business Administration from Butler University and is a graduate of Indiana University.
