iCARS Debuts in San Francisco with Special Black Car Service Pricing for Super Bowl Week

From February 4 through February 8, Business-focused Ride App Delivers Exclusive Offers for the Big Game

SAN FRANCISCO--()--iCARS, a new transportation app that instantly connects travelers with licensed executive car service operators throughout the Bay Area, is pleased to announce a number of special point-to-point black car service offers in honor of Super Bowl 50. iCARS goes beyond ordinary rideshare apps by enabling individuals and organizations to schedule immediate and/or future car trips driven by professional, thoroughly-screened chauffeurs – without the worry of “surge pricing.”

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the big game, the company will roll out special promotions that will run from Thursday, February 4 through Monday, February 8. Within the City of San Francisco, iCARS will offer point-to-point luxury sedan service for $50 per ride. For this offer, up to four passengers must be scheduled or booked on-demand through the iCARS mobile app, using a verified credit card. Locals and visitors partaking in the festivities leading up to the big game will enjoy the convenience of point-to-point pick up with iCars at a number of official Super Bowl pre-parties, including CBS Sports at AT&T, DirecTV, EA Sports party/Madden Bowl 22, ESPN at Fort Mason, Leather & Laces, Maxim, Metallica at AT&T Park, Playboy and more. For those traveling outside the city to celebrate, iCARS will offer point-to-point service for trips of less than 60 miles for $188.

iCARS will also offer special pricing on airport transfers during Super Bowl Week: San Francisco International Airport to or from Downtown San Francisco hotels: $94; Oakland International Airport to Downtown San Francisco: $124; and Mineta San José International Airport to Downtown San Francisco: $164.

Additionally, on February 7, Super Bowl Sunday, iCARS will offer $248 luxury car service for up to four passengers, each way, from San Francisco to/from Santa Clara/Levi's Stadium, with the option to upgrade to a $298 fare for six passengers, or an eight-passenger Luxury Van for $348 each way.

“Bay Area residents and visitors need reliable transportation during the upcoming Super Bowl festivities, and iCARS will be the safest, most dependable and stress-free way to travel to and from all the gridiron-related action,” said Gary Bauer, CEO of iCARS.

About Gary Bauer:

iCARS was conceived, founded and launched by Gary Bauer, a 26-year transportation industry veteran and owner of Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation. Bauer’s IT is the largest privately-held provider of passenger transportation in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Gary Bauer’s vision for this independent start-up company centered on the limousine industry’s dire need to compete “head-on” with Uber and Lyft in terms of on-demand ride hailing technology. The key to success will be differentiating iCARS' unique benefits – enabling third party bookings, in-app future reservations, comprehensive expense reporting and integration, leveraging only high-end vehicles and professional, thoroughly-screened chauffeurs to corporate and private clients.

iCARS has been in development for over four years, at a seed cost of over $5 million. iCARS soft-launched in San Francisco in 2015, and an aggressive roll-out is planned for major U.S. cities throughout 2016. iCARS is adding professional drivers and operators every day as word spreads of this exciting new alternative to Uber and Lyft, especially for corporate or business travel.
