Jonathan F. Cook Joins Arcadia Healthcare Solutions as Chief Technology Officer

Addition of Former NCQA Deputy CIO Supports Company’s Continued Commitment to Technical Excellence

BURLINGTON, Mass.--()--Arcadia Healthcare Solutions, a leading electronic health record (EHR) data aggregation and analytics technology company, has appointed Jonathan F. Cook as its chief technology officer. Cook will join the executive team and lead the company’s technological vision, as well as its internal engineering and infrastructure teams, bridging the gap between business and technology at Arcadia.

“Jon brings not only deep experience in healthcare technology, but a true passion for the field, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on our team,” said Sean Carroll, chief executive officer of Arcadia. “His leadership of our engineering and infrastructure teams will continue to push the envelope for our innovative technology platform, while his understanding of how to connect business and technology to achieve strategic and operational goals will be invaluable to our customers as they continue to navigate the transition to value-based care.”

A technology leader with more than 20 years of experience building, leading and motivating teams, Cook is uniquely skilled in providing leadership over information technology while addressing strategic business and clinical goals and opportunities. Prior to Arcadia, Cook served as deputy chief information officer for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), where he provided leadership over information technology, served as an enterprise architect and transformed legacy systems into dynamic, scalable infrastructure. During his tenure at NCQA, Cook also developed the HEDIS data collection format and systems used by the top 300-400 health plans in the United States, which in turn covers more than 170 million lives, and was part of the team that developed NCQA’s first online accreditation system for health plans.

Cook was also a founding member of the NCQA innovation committee, which generated several innovation concepts within its first year. He brings deep experience integrating software development with other teams, and his experience has helped him to focus teams from start-up mode to fully integrated and compliant teams.

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with many health technology solutions providers in the past, and none have been as impressive or mature as Arcadia,” said Cook. “The choice to work with Arcadia was a no brainer, and I am truly looking forward to growing the technology and its capabilities in the future.”

Supporting the health of more than 20 million patients, and the performance and operations of 3,000 provider practices nationwide, Arcadia’s analytics technology and transformation services enable its customers to aggregate and harmonize clinical data from more than 30 different EHR vendors and multiple health insurance claims systems. With strategic direction from Cook, the company will continue to tackle and overcome the barriers to information exchange.

Cook received his bachelor’s degree in English writing from the University of Pittsburgh. He also received his Federal Chief Information Officer Certificate from Carnegie Melon University/Federal CIO University in Arlington, Virginia.
