PEORIA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RLI Corp. (NYSE: RLI) -- RLI Corp. announced today that Greg Chilson has been promoted to Vice President, RLI Surety. In his new role, Chilson will oversee RLI’s four Surety segments: Commercial Surety, Contract Surety, Energy Surety and Miscellaneous Surety.
Chilson began his career at RLI in 1999 as part of the Underwriters Indemnity acquisition. Prior to joining Underwriters Indemnity in 1993, he was Assistant Vice President, Financial Reporting for American General. After joining RLI as an Underwriter, he was promoted to Vice President of Energy Surety in 2014. He holds a bachelor’s in accounting from University of Texas and is a CPA. He also holds the Texas Managing General Agent and Texas Surplus Lines Agency license.
