SAN FRANCISCO--()--BAE Systems has received a $16.5 million contract from the U.S. Navy to perform overhaul and maintenance services for the USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11), a Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ammunition ship. The work, which will take place at the company’s shipyard in San Francisco, California, is scheduled to begin next month and conclude in April.
