Global Knowledge Canada Appoints New President

Lawrence Franco to head up Canada’s largest learning services provider

TORONTO--()--Richard Pryor-Jones, interim global CEO of Global Knowledge Training LLC, announced today the appointment of Lawrence Franco to the position of president, Global Knowledge Canada. Franco replaces Scott Williams, who is retiring after more than 25 years’ service to Global Knowledge Canada, the last five as company president.

Lawrence Franco has more than three decades of business leadership experience, most recently as president at Teranet Inc.’s Value Added Commercial Solutions. In this role, Franco consistently grew the business in both top and bottom lines, while meeting or exceeding company targets for customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Prior to his work at Teranet, Franco spent some 15 years at Dun & Bradstreet, with progressive roles including business analyst, director of operations, vice president of sales, president of D&B Canada and, ultimately, president of D&B Canada and Latin America. As president, Franco established Canada as one of D&B’s most profitable markets.

“Lawrence is an excellent addition to the Global Knowledge team,” Pryor-Jones said in a statement. “Lawrence is a strong leader with an exceptional track record. He has exactly the skills required to solidify Global Knowledge’s market leadership position in Canada and to build new momentum in that marketplace. I’m delighted to have him leading the Canadian business.”

Franco will assume the presidency of Global Knowledge Canada on Monday, January 4, 2016.
