ZÜRICH, Switzerland--()--IMA Europe and the International Business Communications Standards Association (IBCS) are pleased to announce that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), encompassing various areas of collaboration to benefit members of both organizations.

Under the agreement, IMA will offer members of the IBCS Association concessions on IMA membership and discounted enrollment fees for the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) program. In return, IMA members will be offered the opportunity to attend IBCS® seminars at a reduced price. Additionally, they can get CPE Credits when attending a seminar. The two organizations will also regularly inform their members of joint projects, campaigns or research findings via various communication platforms.

Jürgen Faisst, Managing Director of the IBCS Association, is convinced that both sides will benefit from the cooperation: "By collaborating with IMA, we can publicize the IBCS® Standards for the conceptual and visual design of reports and presentations to a wider audience of experts. At the same time, the IBCS® community is interested in training opportunities that IMA are able to offer with the CMA credential. So it's a win-win situation.

Nina Michels-Kim, Director of European Operations at IMA Europe, agreed with this statement and added: "Our interest in promoting the importance of management accounting will definitely be supported through the MOU. The partnership will also offer our members the opportunity to broaden their knowledge thanks to the reduced IBCS® seminar fees for IMA members."
