Wilson Health Selects Phoenix Health Systems for Comprehensive Service Desk Support

Ohio-based health system adds proven expertise, reduces technology costs by retaining seasoned health IT services provider

RICHARDSON, Texas & SIDNEY, Ohio--()--Phoenix Health Systems, the premier enabler of better patient care through information technology (IT), today announced that Wilson Health, an integrated health network serving western Ohio, has signed a contract for complete service desk support. Phoenix will provide 24x7 support for all of Wilson’s IT systems and be the single point of contact for IT-related issues.

Formerly known organizationally as Wilson Memorial Hospital, Wilson Health is in the midst of an expansion into the broader community in an effort to meet the growing healthcare needs of Shelby County and surrounding communities. That growth is supported and facilitated by the use of comprehensive health IT systems, which Phoenix will ensure retain optimal function.

Under the existing agreement, the Phoenix service desk will assign a priority level to all incoming issues and manage communications with both internal and external resources until the issue is resolved. Phoenix will also provide Wilson with status updates and document solutions in a database for future reference.
