T-Mobile Unwraps More Holiday Gifts, This Time for AT&T Customers

Un-carrier announces $200 memory upgrade on the world’s most iconic smartphone and up to 50% off select gifts from smartwatches to speakers to games

BELLEVUE, Wash.--()--T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS) today unwrapped yet another of its special holiday gifts, this time for the bluest of them all—AT&T customers. As part of its holiday gift-giving, the Un-carrier first gave its own Simple Choice customers three months of Unlimited LTE. Then, for beleaguered Sprint customers, T-Mobile gave $200 per line when they switched—no trade-in required. Next up, T-Mobile’s giving AT&T customers a 128GB model of the world’s top-selling smartphone for the price of a 16GB model − a whopping $200 value − when they make the switch to T-Mobile.

In addition, T-Mobile’s also offering up to half off its line-up of financed in-store accessories for AT&T customers who join the Un-carrier. That could mean as much as a $125 discount on the hottest mobile gifts, like the latest smartwatches, UE Boom and JBL Bluetooth speakers, top-of-the-line headphones, Fitbit fitness trackers, Guitar Hero Live for iOS and more. “I can already hear AT&T customers asking ‘What’s the catch?’ And I don’t blame them—because with AT&T there’s always a catch,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “But that’s not us. And this is our way of showing long-suffering AT&T customers exactly how the Un-carrier gives you more without asking more from you – with a sweet memory upgrade on the world’s most famous smartphone – and half-off the best accessories. It’s our gift to you.”

Every AT&T, GoPhone and Cricket customer is eligible when they switch a number to T-Mobile’s Simple Choice postpaid plan, and they’re also eligible for T-Mobile’s Carrier Freedom and up to $650 per line or more to cover AT&T’s early termination fees (ETFs) or the balance owed on your AT&T phone, with a phone trade-in when you switch your number to T-Mobile.

In fact, for customers tired of AT&T’s greedy antics − like raising the price on their grandfathered unlimited plans − there’s never been a better time to come to the Un-carrier. For a limited time, a family of four can get four lines of Unlimited 4G LTE data for just $45 a line—T-Mobile’s lowest price for Unlimited LTE ever! And along with unlimited data on America’s fastest 4G LTE network, AT&T customers get all those Un-carrier extras like the ability to use your phone in Mexico and Canada like you do at home, unlimited global data roaming and texting in more than 140 countries, free streaming movies with Binge On and more.

Sprint customers have through the weekend to pick up their Un-carrier Unwrapped gift, as the $200 per line port-in credit for Sprint customers ends December 6th.

This deal for AT&T customers kicks off tomorrow December 4th in participating T-Mobile stores nationwide and will be available through December 13th, while supplies last. Next week, Verizon customers can expect to find something special waiting and wrapped in magenta, of course.

Line port-in and qualifying Simple Choice plan required. Limited quantities available. Promotions applied as bill credits; must be active and in good standing when credits are applied. iPhone Upgrade via $200 bill credit; may take up to 90 days. One device per line. Accessories Discount: Finance agreement (min. $69, max. $250) required. Applied as monthly credit for as long as you maintain service over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining accessory balance at full price becomes due.
