GLENDALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anoush Banquet Halls and Catering celebrates their 30th Anniversary by giving back to the community that has supported it. On Thanksgiving Day the company will provide 100 meals to Ascencia, a nonprofit organization that provides services to homeless individuals, at their 80-bed Winter Shelter in Glendale, CA.
Since 1985, Anoush has had an outstanding reputation for offering fine dining options and event planning services for weddings, corporate and other social events. Anoush is excited to cater holiday meals for Ascencia’s clients at their seasonal emergency shelter. “We’ve developed strong relationships with the community and feel it’s necessary we give back while celebrating our 30th anniversary,” said Vrej Sarkissian, CEO at Anoush.
The meal features Mediterranean items, and holiday classics, and Anoush will prepare and deliver the meals to Ascencia’s clients at their Winter Shelter. “Ascencia is grateful to Anoush for providing dinner to our homeless clients. Ascencia’s Winter Shelter provides a lifeline for homeless neighbors in Glendale, Burbank and the Northeast Los Angeles area. Experts have forecast torrential El Nino rains for winter. To provide needed shelter, Ascencia’s Winter Shelter will run from November 16, 2015 to March 31, 201, opening every evening at 5 PM. Winter Shelter also provides meals, and access to shower and laundry facilities.
