Fort Worth, AAPL leaders gather to celebrate 60 years in the Metroplex

FORT WORTH, Texas--()--The American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) held an open house on Wednesday, November 11 at its new headquarters at 800 Fournier Street in Fort Worth. The event featured a ribbon cutting by Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, followed by a reception and open house with AAPL members from across the U.S. as well as local industry leaders.

“America’s landmen are leaders who make a difference in both their communities and in the oil and gas industry, and it is important for our staff and headquarters to have an equally impactful presence in the Fort Worth community,” said AAPL President Marc Strahn, CPL.

More than 200 people, including 19 former AAPL board presidents from all across the country, attended the open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. This year marks AAPL’s 60th year of operation, all of which have been headquartered in Fort Worth.

“It’s an honor to have Mayor Price help us celebrate our new headquarters and decades-long tenure in Fort Worth,” said Executive Vice President Melanie Bell, CPL. “We look forward to continuing to promote high ethical standards to our members and the oil and gas industry from this great city.”
