The new Virtium TuffDrive® PATA SSDs, featuring capacities from 8GB to 256GB, are built to tolerate extreme temperatures (from -40C to 85C) and withstand shocks and vibrations that could otherwise compromise data integrity. The drives’ standard form factor, wide capacity range, and durability provide system designers with ideal drop-in SSDs to replace less-efficient hard disk drives (HDDs) in rugged industrial environments, while addressing a significant installed user base of PATA storage.
