MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kroll Ontrack, the leading global provider of ediscovery and data recovery products and services, today announced that Craig Carpenter has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Legal Technology Sales. Previously, Carpenter held senior leadership roles at several of the fastest-growing companies in the legal technology and ediscovery industries. He now brings his successful, customer-centric approach to Kroll Ontrack.
Throughout his distinguished career, Carpenter has assisted global clients to manage data intelligently and to enable the efficient resolution of complex legal and governance matters. He has repeatedly established himself as a thought leader and innovator in the legal technology and ediscovery industries. Most recently, Carpenter served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the security division of a well-known cyber security, forensics and ediscovery provider. In this role, he offered clients a comprehensive approach to advanced threat defense and cyber intelligence, leading to the unit’s successful sale in 2015. Earlier in his career, as the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for a fast-growing global ediscovery provider, Carpenter provided strategic advice to top law firms and multi-national corporations. He consistently helped clients to adopt and implement advanced technologies that streamlined legal discovery processes, while reducing litigation-related costs and expenses.
Carpenter began his career as a practicing attorney. He earned both his Juris Doctor and MBA from Santa Clara University and completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA, where he played both quarterback and wide receiver on the university’s Pac-10 championship football team.
