Logic PD Named Finalist for 16th Annual Tekne Awards

MHTA to honor Minnesota’s top technology companies and individuals at the Nov.18 awards ceremony

MINNEAPOLIS--()--The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) has named Logic PD as a finalist in the Internet of Things category for the 2015 Tekne Awards, which will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The Tekne Awards honor Minnesota companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.

Logic PD is being recognized for an Internet of Things product developed with St. Paul-based Geissler Corporation, a veterinary technology company. Logic PD helped Geissler transform their business by unlocking new data with Whisper, a digital diagnostic stethoscope. By leveraging big data, Logic PD helped Geissler evolve their business from a single-sale product to a monitoring service and finally to data-driven operations to offer customers complete insight into their herd with the ultimate benefit of decreasing Bovine Respiratory Disease by 38% globally.

“We are honored to be recognized by MHTA for guiding our clients through each step of the product lifecycle to a connected device yielding valuable data and their competitive advantage,” said Bruce DeWitt, president and CEO, Logic PD. “This recognition is a testament to Logic PD’s ability as a system integrator to deliver innovative solutions for the Internet of Things and the growing digital world.”
