Pepperdine University Graziadio School Programs Achieve Multiple Top Rankings in The Financial Engineer

Finance, Management and Leadership, Accounting and MBA Programs Receive National Recognition; Continue to Boost Momentum for Pepperdine Graziadio School

MALIBU, Calif.--()--Building off several strong business school rankings in recent months, Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management was named a top program in four categories in new rankings released by finance and education media outlet, The Financial Engineer. The rankings include a strong showing in applied finance, management and leadership, and first-ever recognition for the program in accounting from Pepperdine University Graziadio School.

Pepperdine Graziadio School Master of Science in Applied Finance program ranked No. 41, improving four points over last year’s ranking at No. 45. The Master of Science in Accounting program ranked No. 48, the first time this program has been ranked. The Master of Science in Management and Leadership program continues to be a top 15 ranked program, coming in at No. 12. Finally, capping off recent broad recognition, the publication ranked the MBA program No. 90.

Pepperdine Graziadio Master of Science in Applied Finance program provides solid, real-world skills with a foundation in economics, quantitative methods, accounting, and finance. Pepperdine Graziadio students can choose from three curricular tracks in capital markets, financial management and investments. The program also benefits students from China and other countries with an F-1 visa who may be authorized for 29 months of employment in the U.S. after graduation. Pepperdine Graziadio Master of Science in Management and Leadership degree develops individual leadership styles that are applied to managing teams and building alliances. Learning experiences in the 16-month program, such as consulting with nonprofit and community-based organizations with our Capstone Education to Community Project (E2C), go beyond simulations and company visits. The Graziadio Business School values-centered learning model develops personal leadership as well as professional skills, helping students advance to a higher managerial level with greater confidence.

Pepperdine Graziadio Master of Science in Accounting is designed for candidates with a degree in accounting from a U.S. institution who seek the academic preparation and credits required for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in California and most states. The 12-month program prepares graduates for careers in public accounting, industry, government, and nonprofit organizations. Graduates also acquire leadership and critical thinking skills that will set them apart and expand career opportunities.

Pepperdine Graziadio MBA offers small, collaborative classes; accessible faculty; and tailored curriculum options meet the lifestyle needs and unique ambitions of working professionals, seasoned executives, and full-time students. Each program emphasizes the application of theory into practice with classes structured for team problem-solving around a curriculum that puts theory into hands-on action.

Pepperdine Graziadio has enjoyed recognition in several recent rankings.

According to The Financial Engineer’s website, the 2016 Master Program Rankings are the most comprehensive rankings in the United States. The rankings are based on mean scores from: GMAT entrance exam scores, starting salaries and bonuses, undergraduate GPA, acceptance rate, full-time graduates employed at graduation and full-time graduates employed three months after graduation.
