Former CEO of Ikaria Daniel Tassé Joins Bridge Growth Partners

Will Serve as Senior Advisor and Member of Strategic Advisory Board

NEW YORK--()--Bridge Growth Partners, LLC today announced that Daniel Tassé, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ikaria, Inc., has joined Bridge Growth Partners as a Senior Advisor and will also serve on its Strategic Advisory Board.

Mr. Tassé is an accomplished healthcare and technology executive. From 2008 until 2015, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ikaria Inc., a leading global critical care company focused on developing and commercializing innovative therapies for critically ill patients. In 2013, Mr. Tassé successfully led Ikaria’s split into two companies —Ikaria and Bellerophon Therapeutics—and in April 2015 he completed the sale of Ikaria to Mallinckrodt for $2.3 billion.

Prior to his work with Ikaria, Mr. Tassé ran the pharmaceutical technologies business unit of Baxter, a global business with $2 billion in revenue generated across contract manufacturing, drug delivery technologies, and generic drugs. Before joining Baxter, Mr. Tassé was based in Australia, where he was responsible for the Australasian business of GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to that, he worked at SmithKline Beecham—the precursor to GlaxoSmithKline—where he was responsible for product development, sales, and marketing for the Company’s health care services division. Mr. Tassé is currently a Director of Indivior and Bellerophon Therapeutics. He is also a Senior Advisor to Athyrium Capital Management, a specialist in structured investments in the global healthcare sector. Mr. Tassé recently joined the Sheikh Zayed Institute Business Advisory Council at the Children’s National Health System in Washington, DC. He holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Université de Montreal and is fluent in both French and English.
