Appfire Joins the Pledge 1% Movement, Makes Commitment to Integrated Philanthropy

Appfire will leverage 1% of product, profit and employee time to improve communities around the world

SAN FRANCISCO & BOSTON--()--Appfire announced today at Atlassian Summit 2015 that it has joined Pledge 1%, a corporate philanthropy movement dedicated to making the community a key stakeholder in every business. Founded by Atlassian, Rally and the Salesforce Foundation, Pledge 1% empowers companies to donate 1% of product, 1% of equity, 1% of profit or 1% of employee time to improve communities around the world.

Appfire is joining an impressive network of more than 450 entrepreneurs and companies across the globe that have committed to philanthropic efforts through the Pledge 1% movement. By pledging 1% of its product, profit and employee time, Appfire is demonstrating a commitment to philanthropic leadership.

Celebrating its 10th year in business, Appfire has contributed over $1 million dollars in employee time and product to nonprofit and educational organizations and has contributed $125,000 in grants to organizations such as Room to Read, American Cancer Society and others.
