Concepts, Inc. Selected to Support Several New Government Initiatives to Expand Disability Employment and Inclusion

BETHESDA, Md.--()--In recent months, Concepts, Inc., an independent communications firm specializing in disability and employment issues, secured four new contracts focused on expanding inclusion for people with disabilities in the workplace and community.

Three of the projects, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), aim to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities through targeted outreach and the development of materials for specific audiences, among them small businesses, state governments and young people with disabilities transitioning from school to work. These contracts include the Add Us In-Business Intermediary Project, Registered Apprenticeship Video, and State Exchange on Employment and Disability. With the help of Concepts, these initiatives will further the reach of ODEP’s programmatic and policy initiatives through increased awareness and stakeholder engagement.

In another win, Concepts was awarded a subcontract to support Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) From Coverage to Care Initiative, a national education and outreach campaign to better connect low income and underserved groups with health care information and resources. Through its contract with Ogilvy, Concepts will provide strategic communications and accessibility support to promote the program to people with disabilities, one of its key target audiences.

All four projects add to Concepts’ significant track record of providing effective communications services to the federal government in support of its goal to expand the inclusion of people with disabilities in employment and all aspects of community life.
