BERLIN--()--Holger Zinn has assumed the newly created post of European Sales Manager at CD-Lab. In this role, he will oversee business development throughout central Europe, helping the company capitalize on its recently launched WinCan VX sewer inspection reporting and asset management software platform. The announcement was made at CD-Lab’s quarterly management team meeting in Berlin, and coincides with the release of Q3 results, which reveal year-to-date revenue that’s 20.2% above 2014, and earnings that are up 72.7%.

“So far, 2015’s record sales growth has been driven primarily by existing WinCan accounts migrating to WinCan VX,” says Martin Hien, General Manager of Swiss-based CD-Lab. “That trend will continue, but an even greater opportunity for us lies in converting the rest of the market to WinCan, and Mr. Zinn will lead that effort in Central Europe. His hire is part of a broader investment in business development, including the formation of WinCan Japan, and our recent acquisition of U.S.-based Pipeline Analytics.”

Educated as a civil engineer, Mr. Zinn holds 25 years’ experience in the wastewater industry, having worked in business development for sewer rehab giant Insituform and software developer Barthauer. He has also served as Managing Director for KMG Pipe Technologies and Brandenburger.

“The opportunities at CD-Lab are boundless,” says Mr. Zinn. “The company has an incredibly loyal user base, they’ve invested heavily in their platform’s unique capabilities, and they’re evolving to a subscription-based licensing and support model that will give them the resources to innovate far beyond any of their competitors. It’s an exciting time to join this team.”
