BRYN MAWR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Board of Directors of Aqua America (NYSE: WTR) today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.178 per share, payable on December 1, 2015 to all shareholders of record on November 13, 2015.
The December 1, 2015 dividend matches the September 1, 2015 dividend, which was an increase of $0.013, or 7.9 percent compared to the $0.165 cash dividend paid on June 1, 2015. Aqua America has paid consecutive quarterly cash dividends for 70 years and has increased the dividend 25 times in the last 24 years.
