ICF International Awarded $21.5 Million Blanket Purchase Agreement by Internal Revenue Service

ICF to Help Federal Tax Agency Measure and Improve Customer Satisfaction

FAIRFAX, Va.--()--ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, was recently awarded a re-compete blanket purchase agreement by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The expected value of this multiple-award contract is $21.5 million with a term of five years, including one base and four option years.

ICF will continue to support the IRS in its efforts to measure and improve customer satisfaction with its services. This work includes designing and administering surveys, processing and analyzing collected data and developing reports and recommendations to assist the agency in making cost-efficient program decisions and preparing its annual mandated customer satisfaction report to Congress.

A proven leader in survey design, administration and analysis, ICF provides the IRS with access to more than 200 survey professionals including statisticians, methodologists, survey design specialists and analysts as well as data visualization experts and IT staff capable of creating highly visual, automated reports that better communicate key results to stakeholders. The firm also brings demonstrated experience in every potential current and emerging survey method—telephone, Web, mail/paper, interactive voice response, panels and in-person surveys—along with all qualitative methods based on industry best practices and its own research.

“Like many federal agencies, the IRS has experienced continued reductions in its budget appropriations making it increasingly challenging for the agency to balance its service and enforcement roles,” said Larry Luskin, vice president for ICF International. “We are pleased the IRS has selected ICF to continue collecting reliable data and pinpointing service improvements to preserve this delicate balance and the trust of the American people.”

ICF has supported the IRS on numerous projects over the past 10 years, providing design, administration, consulting and training services to help advance the tax agency’s programs in nearly every business operating division or office.
