STAMFORD, Conn.--()--Gartner, Inc. (NYSE:IT), the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, today announced the acquisition of Capterra, a privately-held company based in Arlington, VA. Terms were not disclosed.

Capterra helps organizations find the right business software to meet their needs. The acquisition of Capterra is consistent with Gartner’s growth strategy to invest in developing world-class products and services that help clients make the right technology-related decisions, every day.
