CEA Innovate! to feature exciting panelists, speakers and keynotes

Two-day conference focuses on startups and small business

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced programming updates for the second annual CEA Innovate! conference. This two-day conference is poised to once again bring together innovative minds in the industry to lead engaging panels and sessions. The event will feature luncheon keynote addresses from Mark Randall, serial entrepreneur and chief strategist, vice president of creativity at Adobe and David Pogue, founding editor-in-chief, Yahoo Tech and host of PBS’ NOVA ScienceNow. Thought leaders from Canary, Digital Trends, CEB Iconoculture Consumer Insights, Dundee Venture Capital, Indiegogo, KeepUp, Phone2Action and TransLink Capital will also take the Innovate! stage to talk all things innovation.

From disruptors and startups to the most established brands, CEA Innovate! connects the consumer technology industry around the theme of fostering innovation in companies of all sizes.
 

In conjunction with CEA Innovate!, the CE Hall of Fame Dinner will recognize eight new inductees for their contributions to the consumer electronics industry. Admission to the dinner is included with full conference registration for CEA Innovate!

Panelists include Eric Hsia, advisor and venture partner, TransLink Capital, tech journalist Andrea Smith and Jeremy Kaplan, editor in chief, Digital Trends.
 

• Annual Member Meeting and Keynote Lunch

• Funding Strategies That Work

Kate Drane, hardware category lead, Indiegogo, one of the top crowdfunding platforms, will once again discuss how crowdfunding has continued to evolve as a form of raising capital, and offer tips for how best to use this tool. She will be joined by Adam Sager, the co-founder and CEO of Indiegogo success story Canary, Beth Engel, partner, Dundee Venture Capital, and Ximena Hartsock, president and co-founder, Phone2Action, who will discuss seed funding.
 

• Looking for a Miracle on 42nd Street

Tuesday, November 10, 9:30 AM

Shawn DuBravac, chief economist and senior director of research, CEA, and Steve Koenig, senior director, industry analysis, CEA, will provide a mid-season update as the holiday season kicks off.
 

• Keynote Lunch and IEA Awards

Tuesday, November 10, Noon

David Pogue, founding editor-in-chief, Yahoo Tech and host of PBS’ NOVA ScienceNow, will deliver the keynote address. The Innovation Entrepreneur Award winners will also be announced.
