Panama Jack Continues To Develop International Markets, Expands Into New Product Lines That Extend Brand Globally

MIAMI--()--Panama Jack, the lifestyle brand that allows fans to enjoy its fun, laid-back style at home and away, continues to spread its smart-casual vibe around the globe. In recent months, the Florida-based company expanded its license agreements with a number of core and home vendors that tap into new global markets and widen the company’s product offerings, providing consumers with new ways to experience the Panama Jack culture.

The expanded and new agreements broaden Panama Jack’s reach and depth across all of its primary product lines: home furnishings, apparel and accessories, and beach gear. In a first for Panama Jack and “man’s best friend,” the dogs of Panama Jack enthusiasts can now share their masters’ lifestyle in their own branded pet bed.

“We continue to build Panama Jack’s universal appeal as a leading lifestyle brand globally by developing markets around the world where the fun, casual, family-centric nature of our brand resonates well,” said Panama Jack CEO Kim Manna. “Wherever we go and whatever we offer, we always stay true to our brand’s mindset and lifestyle.”

As a result of recent agreements, the following licensees now have additional responsibilities for new products or services:

Palmetto Home: Panama Jack’s case-goods provider since 2012, Palmetto Home now adds upholstered pieces to its collections, which allows it to more effectively create entire home environments with coordinating fabrics, finishes and styles. Top retailers soon will feature “Panama Jack Oasis” displays in their showrooms, where customers can view multiple collections and see how case goods and upholstery work together to create the Panama Jack feeling at home. Elsewhere, new furniture accounts in Germany, South Korea and the Caribbean will significantly extend the global reach of the brand’s furniture lines.

Westport Linens: The lifestyle brand’s bedding licensee since 2012, Westport Linens now expands into beds for pets, extending the Panama Jack lifestyle to pet owners’ entire family. Westport introduced its pet habitat earlier this at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando. In addition to bedding and pet beds, Westport will supply bath products—for humans—as well as beach towels.

United Weavers of America: Teaming up with Panama Jack earlier this month, United Weavers introduces fun, fashionable, soft flooring to complement the brand’s home-and-furnishings lines. The company offers a creative line of products featuring the latest trends in indoor and outdoor rugs at affordable prices.

Dorfman-Pacific: Headwear licensee to the company since 2009, Dorfman-Pacific will supply Panama Jack beach, tote and cosmetic bags to augment the brand’s apparel and accessories line. The company will produce two lines of bags, one for direct-to-retail accounts and a second for authorized representatives who sell to resort and specialty accounts across the country.

Zyloware: Eyewear licensee since 2012, Zyloware provides Panama Jack eyeglass frames and prescription sunglasses. The company manufactures and distributes the lifestyle-branded products throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Gulf Coast: Panama Jack’s licensee for board shorts and rash guards since 2000, Gulf Coast will now source fishing apparel; body boards; beach chairs, umbrellas and cabanas; beach towels and blankets; neoprene coasters and volleyballs under an expanded licensee agreement. By consolidating much of its beach-gear and apparel fulfillment under a single vendor, Panama Jack greatly streamlines its operations in one of its core—and historic—product categories.

Cleatus Cups: Panama Jack’s newest licensee, onboard since July 2015, is drinkware-goods supplier Cleatus Cups. This licensee produces a nautical-themed line of beverage-ware for the company featuring cups and coolers with cleat-shaped handles that look right at home with the Panama Jack Home Collection and other of the brand’s home accessories.
