On August 25, 2015, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) issued United States Patent number 9,116,223 entitled “Systems, Methods, Devices and Arrangements for Emergency Call Services and User Participation Incentives.” The ‘223 patent relates to a location database for emergency call centers that determines locations for nodes in a data transmission route from information received from endpoint devices.
On the same date, the USPTO issued United States Patent number 9,116,752 entitled “Systems, Methods, Devices and Arrangements for Server Load Distribution.” The ‘752 patent implements a new method for controlling server load distributions that collectively provide services to computer clients.
Since its establishment, 8x8 has been awarded 111 United States patents covering a variety of voice and video communications, signaling, processing and storage technologies.
