DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Lone Star Restaurant Supply announced an industry leader Darren Anderson has joined the firm as President and Chief Operating Officer, having previously served in the same role at PrimeSource FoodService Equipment, Inc.
Steve Schaefer, previously Vice President and General Manager of the company, becomes the Executive Vice President of Operations. The veteran executive will oversee the daily operations of the company which ships hundreds of orders daily to more than 10,000 restaurant and multi-unit operator customers across the country.
The company board of directors appointed Anderson to take over the reigns to lead the strategic direction and positioning of the nation’s premier food service equipment and supplies distributor that generates tens of millions in revenue annually. Lone Star is also one of Texas’ largest hospitality logistics service firms. “Steve Schaefer’s contributions to Lone Star span sales, logistics, and distribution and have resulted in reduced landed costs and higher customer satisfaction,” said Anderson. Known as a food service equipment expert, Schaefer previously ran operations for various restaurant brands as well as operated his own concept in Austin, Texas.
