TPG Software Expands Interface with Addition of Fixed Income Data from S&P Capital IQ

HOUSTON--()--TPG Software, the portfolio accounting, performance management, and analytics software provider, announced the addition of S&P Capital IQ’s enterprise data solutions to its client service offering. S&P Capital IQ’s data includes Global Fixed Income Terms & Conditions, Evaluated Pricing and credit ratings from Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services. TPG clients will be able to integrate S&P Capital IQ’s content to analyze their portfolio holdings for performance evaluation, accounting, compliance, and reporting purposes.

According to Slavek Rotkiewicz, President and Chief Technology Officer of TPG Software, “Adding a world-class data source to TPG will enhance quality and quantity of available reports, especially in the credit area where S&P Capital IQ has many unique data sets unavailable elsewhere.”

S&P Capital IQ content is available to subscribers through TPG’s Data Link Interface, which provides the ability to import position, conversion, and disposition data, that are both proprietary to TPG as well as from third-party sources. Data Link will retrieve the data required for monthly updates on factors, rates, and market prices in addition to security-descriptive information on positions. This capability provides users with the ability to seamlessly integrate S&P Capital IQ’s data to perform analysis or run reports.

“The thought behind the interface is to really make our data available to mutual clients via their workflow platform of choice, as well expand our data footprint with new and existing clients,” said Tim Walker, S&P Capital IQ Managing Director of Global Channel Sales and Alliances.
