FirstBank Announces New Northern Colorado and North Market Presidents

LAKEWOOD, Colo.--()--FirstBank Holding Company, the Lakewood-based holding company for the second largest bank by deposits in Colorado and largest locally owned bank, today announced the promotions of Dawn Davis to president of the north market and Nicole Staudinger to president of the northern Colorado market. Both Davis and Staudinger started with FirstBank in the company’s Management Trainee Program and bring extensive banking experience to their new positions.

Staudinger, who started with FirstBank in 1999, enters the position of president of northern Colorado market following 2.5 years as executive vice president. Her responsibilities include managing eight branches in Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor and Greeley, and continuing to grow FirstBank’s market share by creating new opportunities for lending officers. Staudinger believes in a strong commitment to her community and is a proponent of affordable housing. She has served on numerous boards throughout her career, including her current role as board president for Junior Achievement of Northern Colorado.

“FirstBank has provided me with a lot of opportunities to grow and learn without limits to what I’ve been able to accomplish,” said Staudinger. “I’m excited that my new role in the company will allow me to better serve the northern Colorado community and expand my service with local non-profit organizations, especially ones that help provide affordable housing.”

Davis started with FirstBank is 1995 as a management trainee in Summit County before moving to Fort Collins, where she spent 16 years prior to being promoted to president of the north market. In her new role, Davis is responsible for managing 10 bank branches in Thornton, Broomfield, Westminster, Brighton and Commerce City, leading customer development, and overseeing officer leadership. She has served on boards for numerous non-profit organizations, including the OtterCares Foundation, Teaching Tree Learning Center, Habitat for Humanity, Care Housing and the Rotary Club of Fort Collins.
