BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Black Duck Software, a global leader in automated solutions for securing and managing open source software, today announced the appointment of experienced marketing executive Bob Canaway as its Chief Marketing Officer.
Canaway, who has more than 15 years of enterprise software marketing leadership, joins Black Duck as the company sharpens its focus on open source security with solutions that scan application code to identify all open source, map any known open source vulnerabilities and dynamically monitor all of the scanned open source code.

Previously, he was Vice President of Marketing at Ektron, a web content and digital experience management provider.
