GÖTEBORG, Sweden--()--Regulatory News:

Taking into consideration the need to maintain high quality communication with the capital market participants and in reference to the article published in Polish press, The Management Board of Arctic Paper SA (Company, Issuer) hereby confirms the information about factors influencing the financial results of Arctic Paper Group for 2Q 2015.

According to information included in the periodical report for 1Q 2015 (“Factors influencing the financial results in the perspective of the next quarter”, “Commentary of the President of the Management Board Wolfgang Lübbert to the results of the first quarter of 2015”), the fluctuations in currency rates have a significant influence on the financial results of the Group (in particular, for the activity in the paper segment the appreciation of PLN and SEK in relation to EUR and GBP, the appreciation of PLN in relation to SEK, and depreciation of PLN, EUR and SEK in relation to USD, may have an adverse effect on the financial results; and the activity of the Company in the pulp segment may benefit from appreciation of USD in relation to SEK) as well as the price fluctuations of raw materials, in particular BHKP pulp.

This was also mentioned in the Letter from the President of the Management Board of Arctic Paper S.A. in the Annual Report 2014.

In the Management Board’s opinion, the price increase tendencies that we can see on the BHKP pulp market, as well as constant high rate of US dollar have caused, that the market conditions in 2nd quarter 2015 remained unfavourable.

This information is disclosed pursuant to Offering Act, article 56, clause 1, item 1 – insider information, and was submitted for publication on 17 August 2015, in reference to Arctic Paper’s current report no. 12/2015 filed with the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
