Speaking at a celebration of National Navajo Code Talkers Day, Intel engineer Jolene Begay announces the company’s investment in Science Foundation Arizona’s Code Talkers to Code Writers Initiative. Over the next three years, Intel will invest $250,000 per year at three Arizona high schools in the Navajo Nation to create pathways to computer science and engineering. Begay was joined onstage by one of the Navajo Code Talkers; Arizona Governor Doug Ducey; Ken Quartermain Jr. of Science Foundation Arizona; and U.S. Senator John McCain.
