Mahesh Angadi Joins as Chief Product Officer; Franklyn Farace as Chief Revenue Officer

LOS ANGELES--()--Local ID, a Local Intelligence Platform that provides multi-unit brands with the data, tools and process needed to maximize their local marketing efforts, announced two key executive hires today. Mahesh Angadi joins as Chief Product Officer and Franklyn Farace joins as Chief Revenue Officer. The new hires follow Local ID’s recent seed funding round led by Crosscut Ventures, which raised $1.9 million. Other Local ID investors include Technicolor, TenOneTen, Baroda Ventures, Double M Partners, Tallwave, Wavemaker Partners and Queens Bridge Venture Partners.

Both new hires bring deep experience in technology and digital media to Local ID. Angadi is a start-up veteran having been the first product manager hired by Omniture where he played a pivotal role in building out the company’s flagship product, SiteCatalyst, and establishing the company as a leader in the marketing analytics space. He has also served at top ad tech start-up PubMatic as Vice President, Product Management with responsibility for developing the company’s programmatic capabilities and growing its global product teams across the U.S., Europe and India. At Local ID, Angadi will spearhead the growth of the Local ID’s platform capabilities and guide the company’s overall product strategy.

Farace was previously Vice President, Retail Solutions at Coupons Inc. where he was employee number one on the coupons.com retail team and helped formulate their go-to-market strategy for the company’s retail offerings. Under his leadership, coupons.com built the industry's largest retail network representing over 60,000 store locations and successfully transitioned from a print-at-home offering to a robust digital paperless shopper loyalty platform. Farace also served as Vice President, Western Sales at media and marketing company Valassis. As CRO of Local ID, Farace will lead the company’s overall sales efforts, scaling momentum for the Local ID platform and socializing the company’s offerings with large retail and restaurant brands.

“Mahesh and Franklyn have both had phenomenal success in launching and leading major product and sales initiatives for global companies and we look forward to their leadership as we continue to innovate for multi-unit brands,” said Alex Nocifera, CEO of Local ID. “Mahesh’s experience building industry-leading analytics and ad tech platforms combined with Franklyn’s track record in helping Fortune 500 brands drive sales through enterprise-local marketing initiatives will be extremely valuable as we grow our footprint in the retail arena.”
