Electronic Recyclers International Names James Kim Chief Financial Officer

FRESNO, Calif.--()--Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the nation’s leading recycler of electronic waste and data destruction, announced today that it has promoted James Kim to Chief Financial Officer.

Kim joined as a key member of ERI’s financial team as a financial executive earlier this year. Previously, he was Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Greif & Co., a boutique investment bank.

“James is a seasoned, global financial executive with a deep understanding of the fiscal aspects of our industry,” said John Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of ERI. “He will remain a fantastic asset to ERI as we continue to grow and expand revenue generation and market share. As we approach another growth phase, it is critical that we expand our Executive Management team to prepare for the many new opportunities we are faced with, making James an ideal fit.”

Earlier in his career, Kim served as part of the Technology Investment Banking Group at Banc of America Securities, LLC; as part of the Global Industries & Healthcare Investment Banking Groups at Merrill Lynch and Co.; as a Senior Consultant of Corporate Transactions at KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP; and as an Accountant at PriceWaterhouse, LLP (now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers).

Kim earned an MBA at New York University, a JD at University of California, Davis and a BS in Business at University of California, Berkeley. He is a CPA and a member of the state bar of California.
