Newegg is challenging students to share their favorite back-to-school hacks, with the lucky winners sharing prizes valued at more than $16K. Open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (Rhode Island excluded), age 18 or older at the time of entry, Newegg’s Hack2School Challenge invites entrants to submit photos or videos depicting their favorite tech-related college hacks – examples of how students use technology to streamline the college experience. Newegg will choose the 10 best submissions based on effectiveness and creativity of the hacks, after which the community will vote on their favorites, with five tiers of prizing being distributed based on vote count. Prizes span a variety of brands and categories, and range from computer software and components to high-end gaming PCs and laptops. And in the spirit of bettering the educational experience for all, Newegg will award the grand prize winner’s school of choice a mini tech lab comprised of 81 total items including Dell computers, Roccat peripherals, software suites and much more. Entries are being accepted between July 7 and August 3. For more information and to enter, visit www.newegg.com/hack2school.
