MONCTON, New Brunswick--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RtTech Software, one of the first companies to offer cloud-based industrial software apps for operational intelligence, announces today that Matt Ferry has joined their team as VP, Global Sales. In this role, Ferry will oversee business development with focus on expansion of both on premise and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms of the company’s RtDuet and RtEMIS software.
“Matt is the right person for the job,” says RtTech CEO, Pablo Asiron. “We have had enormous success to this point, but with Matt’s experience, we can scale the sales organization globally, finding the right customer prospects that can benefit from RtTech solutions, bringing meaningful ROI to their organizations.”
RtTech serves industrial markets such as manufacturing and power generation with real-time data and analytics solutions for major cost centres such as productivity and energy management. The company is delivering the next technology revolution - the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) with solutions that are currently deployed in over 60 sites throughout 15 different countries at blue chip companies such as BHP Billiton, Barrick Gold, Rio Tinto, and Cargill.
“I have a huge affinity for the IIoT,” says Ferry. “RtTech is in its early stages, but we are addressing very real pain points on high cost centres with solutions that just wouldn't be possible a few years ago. Even the largest enterprises can get ROI in a couple of weeks which is usually unheard of, but we can do that.”
Matt Ferry has more than 25 years of experience with proven success in M2M and the IIoT. His successes include 600 percent growth in recurring revenues in three years at Axeda Corporation resulting in a successful $170 million acquisition by PTC Inc. As well, he contributed to a successful $112 million IPO while at iPass Inc., another early stage start-up.
