Carousel of Possible Dreams Fundraiser at Griffith Park to Benefit The Art of Elysium and Debbie Allen Dance Academy

Festival of Children Foundation’s innovative fundraising program has raised nearly $2 million for more than 60 charities nationwide; first time in Los Angeles

WHAT:

      Los Angeles civic, business, entertainment and philanthropic leaders will test their carousel riding prowess aboard the Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round, a spectacular 19th century carousel that inspired Walt Disney’s King Arthur’s Carousel at Disneyland. This is the first time the unique Carousel of Possible Dreams will be held in Los Angeles. It will benefit The Art of Elysium and Debbie Allen Dance Academy. Each organization has assembled a team of riders, ready to take the reins and raise money for their organization. Riders are currently soliciting donations on line, with the promise that they will each complete 50 rotations on the carousel. They will continue to make calls for donations between rotations to meet or exceed their goals. 100% of the money the riders raise will go to their respective charities.
