Argyle Announces Investment by the Wicks Group of Companies

NEW YORK--()--Argyle Executive Forum LLC (“Argyle”), a leading provider of C-level executive events for Fortune 500 business leaders, today announced that New York-based investment firm, The Wicks Group of Companies (“Wicks”), entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority position in the company, alongside management. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in New York, Argyle hosts more than 100 annual full-day conferences, private breakfasts, dinners, workshops, virtual conferences, think tanks and roundtable discussions for its screened executive membership of leaders of the largest companies in the United States.

Argyle's event and content solutions allow its members, speakers and sponsoring partners to connect in person, in a peer-to-peer, protected environment to share thought leadership, high level networking and direct discussion with fellow business leaders. The company, led by CEO Danny Phillips and founder and senior board member Jason Redlus, is supported by hundreds of leading brand partners who receive a range of programs allowing them to access and engage with Argyle’s membership.

The transaction closed on June 15. Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, Hodgson Russ LLP, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and Choate Hall & Stewart LLP, served as legal counsel to Argyle. FiveW Capital LLC served as strategic advisor to Argyle. Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe LLP served as legal counsel to Wicks.
