CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Littelfuse, Inc. (NASDAQ:LFUS) today announced the appointment of Matthew J. Cole, 44, as Senior Vice President & General Manager, Industrial Business Unit. In this newly-created position, Cole will be responsible for the electrical fuse, protection relay and custom electrical products businesses, which currently comprise the company’s electrical segment.
Cole joins Littelfuse with more than 20 years of experience in general management, strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, and operations. Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager of AMETEK’s Advanced Measurement Technology division, a global leader in electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. Prior to joining AMETEK, he held positions in general management, marketing, and operations at Danaher and AlliedSignal/Honeywell.
Cole received a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA and Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University.
