TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Postmedia is pleased to announce that Kady O’Malley is joining the Ottawa Citizen’s mobile team as Canada’s first mobile-focused political journalist.
Over the course of her career with the CBC, and before that with Maclean’s and the Hill Times, Ms. O’Malley has established herself as Canada’s foremost digital political journalist. She pioneered the use of social media in the coverage of Canadian politics, and her distinctive writing voice, fierce intelligence and relentless inquisitiveness have made her one of the most popular and influential writers on the Hill.
While her work will appear at times on all of the Citizen’s four platforms as well as across the Postmedia network, Ms. O’Malley’s first and natural home will be on the Citizen’s groundbreaking smartphone app.
