In her new Doral-based role, Dr. Antun will be responsible for clinical operations, care management and quality improvement for the company, which has been offering Medicare Advantage plans in Florida for 15 years.

Dr. Antun has been with Humana since 2006, most recently leading the medical operations for Partners in Primary Care, focusing on building a culture of care accountability; engaging acquired practices in Humana’s integrated delivery system; managing clinicians in 16 centers in Phoenix and Arizona; and, implementing processes and programs to benefit Medicare patients.

“We’re so fortunate to have Dr. Antun in this role,” said CarePlus Regional President David Jarboe. “Not only does she have more than 25 year of experience as a leader in health plans and provider groups, but also during her tenure at CAC-Florida Medical Centers, she spearheaded many of the improvements in service and care delivery that our members enjoy today.”

Dr. Antun, a Miami resident for 30 years, received her training in Internal Medicine at Nassau County Medical Center, an affiliate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She also completed a one-year fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Stony Brook University Hospital.
