Broadview Reports Record-Breaking OfficeSuite Cloud UC Sales

RYE BROOK, N.Y.--()--Broadview Networks®, a leading cloud-based provider of communications and information technology services, recorded its highest month and quarter of sales for its award-winning OfficeSuite®Phone Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) platform.

During the first quarter of 2015, Broadview sold more than 15,000 phone stations, the highest level recorded in its history. It also exceeded 6,000 sales in March alone, setting an all-time high for the most phone stations sold in a single month. Globally, more than 200,000 business professionals, the majority of whom reside in the United States, rely on the OfficeSuite® platform for their communications.

“These records are a clear indication that businesses are more comfortable than ever with using cloud-based technology for mission critical communications,” said Mario DeRiggi, Broadview’s Executive Vice President. “Furthermore, these record-breaking sales showcase how unique the OfficeSuite platform is within the marketplace. We’re observing a common customer understanding that being 100 percent cloud-based is vital to their organizations’ security and employee productivity, and not all UCaaS platforms are created equal.”

OfficeSuite® Phone includes an IP-based phone system, unlimited nationwide calling and an intuitive, award-winning portal, MyOfficeSuite™, which launched earlier this year. This portal allows administrators and employees to seamlessly make quick and easy updates to their services and personal preferences. The system delivers a complete communications solution with state-of-the-art features and applications, including a next-generation desktop collaboration service called OfficeSuite HD Meeting™, all without any capital investment, maintenance contracts or additional IT resources.

Development of the OfficeSuite® Phone platform began with the goal of being 100 percent cloud-based to ensure that the solution does not rely on individual devices for computing power or storage. The OfficeSuite® Phone service extends communications functionality through the cloud to other offices, mobile phones and home phones to improve flexibility and mobility. It allows employees to use any phone at any location while maintaining their own extensions, personal preferences and features. Additionally, businesses and their employees are able to experience the benefits of cloud features by not being reliant on hardware in any way.

“The hosted IP telephony and Unified Communications market is doubling every two-to-three years as companies look to technology to improve employee productivity, reduce risk and lower overall costs,” said Elka Popova, North American Program Director for Unified Communications & Collaboration for Frost & Sullivan. “Broadview owns the OfficeSuite platform, which gives them flexibility to rapidly develop services and features and thus, more effectively address changing needs of customer organizations. The compelling user and administrator interface, as well as the 100 percent cloud approach, improve user mobility and enable greater business continuity.”

“I am so proud of the entire Broadview team for all of their hard work,” DeRiggi said. “Without their vision, persistence and dedication, we would not have been able to accelerate sales to these all-time highs.”
