ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Federated Wireless, Inc., a subsidiary of Allied Minds (LSE:ALM) that is developing scalable wireless infrastructure solutions to extend the access of carrier networks, today announced the appointment of John Bruno as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President.
John brings more than 20 years of experience in directing the strategic, operational and financial aspects of high-tech companies. Before joining Federated Wireless, John worked at VidSys, where he was instrumental in ensuring the company’s continued growth and long-term viability. John raised capital, negotiated complex business agreements and fostered financial discipline across the organization in order to reach the company’s objectives.
Prior to VidSys, John served as Chief Financial Officer for Appfluent Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise business intelligence (BI) and data warehouse management software. He also previously held executive positions at Access Spectrum, LLC, Ericsson IP Infrastructure, and Torrent Networking Technologies, Inc., where he played a key role in building the company, raising capital and negotiating its sale to Ericsson for $450M.

John is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from West Virginia University and an MBA from George Mason University.
