Constellation West and Harris IT Services Awarded $3M USTRANSCOM COINS Contract

WASHINGTON--()--Constellation West, a leading provider of mission-critical technology solutions for the U.S. government and one of the fastest-growing service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, small disadvantaged businesses in the country, announced today it was awarded a $3 million software development and sustainment contract to support the U.S. Transportation Command’s Commercial Operations Integrated System program (COINS). Harris IT Services, a division of Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), is a partner with Constellation West on the contract.

COINS is a multiuser online information system supporting contracting, budgeting and analysis necessary for the financial management of the airlift augmentation program. Under the potential five-year contract, which includes one base year plus four option years, the Constellation West team will provide full life-cycle support, including operations, system maintenance, software updates and integration of new technologies for COINS.

The work is being performed in O’Fallon, Illinois, just outside Scott AFB, which is headquarters of USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Air Force Air Mobility Command.
