MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fiskars, a leading global supplier of consumer products for the home, garden and outdoors, is expanding its team of DIY experts to include television host and professional landscaper Chris Lambton, as well as avid gardener and blogger Russell van Kraayenburg.
“We strive to offer Fiskars fans and followers resources for inspiration and education, while demonstrating how Fiskars tools can help them achieve their goals,” said Fiskars Vice President of Brand Marketing Jay Gillespie. “Experts like Chris and Russell help us share tips for different types of gardening projects and drastically different types of outdoor spaces, as well as different growing climates. We’re thrilled that our readers will be able to learn from their expertise.”
Chris Lambton developed a love for working outdoors at a young age, growing up around his family’s landscaping business in Massachusetts. Today, as co-owner of E. Lambton Landscaping and television host of “Yard Crashers,” Chris has extensive experience transforming backyards into functional and beautiful living spaces.
“When I’m working on a landscaping project, I need tools that are going to stand up to tough jobs,” said Lambton. “I’m excited to work with Fiskars because they bring innovation to standard yard care tools, from a trusted brand users can count on.”
Russell van Kraayenburg is an urban gardener in Texas with a strong appreciation for garden-to-table recipes. As a cook and cookbook author, Russell is currently in the process of transforming all of the vegetation in his backyard into edible plants to use in his cooking throughout the year. He shares his experiences on his home and garden blog, “Chasing Delicious”.
“I grew up with a vegetable garden right outside my kitchen and that has inspired me in developing my recipes and pursuing garden-to-table cooking,” said van Kraayenburg. “Having the right tools out in the garden is just as important as in the kitchen. With a Fiskars tool in hand, I know the job will be a breeze.”
Fiskars partners with inspirational experts to help provide consumers project ideas and how-to tips on Fiskars.com as well as its social channels. Lambton and van Kraayenburg will cover a variety of gardening and yard care topics, from to how to get started with container gardening in small spaces, to the top tools new homeowners need to maintain a yard for the first time. They join Fiskars’ talented team of experts in gardening, yard care, sewing, quilting, and crafting, which includes Emma Jeffery, blogger from Hello Beautiful, Smitha Katti, blogger from Smiling Colors, and Marty Ross, freelance garden writer.
