HOUSTON--()--Todd Blue, Chairman and CEO of Houston-based indiGO Auto Group with award-winning dealerships in Houston, Texas and Rancho Mirage, California, announced earlier today that the company has purchased the assets and Porsche franchise rights from Steve King of Parktown Porsche in St. Louis, Missouri. This is the third Porsche franchise acquisition for Mr. Blue’s growing national company in the past five years. The indiGO Auto Group has dealerships in three states and represents ten world-class automotive brands including Porsche, Audi, Bentley, Land Rover, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Maserati, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Aston Martin and McLaren.

“We are honored to bring our white glove service and Porsche-centric passion to St. Louis,” said Mr. Blue. “Porsche’s tremendous heritage and history is something we celebrate at the highest level.”

In 2010, indiGO Auto Group acquired its first new car franchise with the purchase of Porsche of North Houston. Since that time, Porsche of North Houston has been the fastest growing Porsche dealership in the United States. The company’s second Porsche dealership, Porsche of Rancho Mirage, is located in Rancho Mirage, California and has had the highest percentage growth rate in the United States since being acquired by the indiGO Auto Group in 2013.

Mr. Blue stated, “We are bringing the ultimate ownership experience to St. Louis Porsche owners and those new to and considering the Porsche brand on their automotive shopping list. Our goal is to elevate and activate the ownership of people passionate about cars in St. Louis. It is our mission to give people in St. Louis a unique and authentic way to enjoy their driving and ownership experience every day.”

He added, “Porsche does not have a substitute; we know our new clients will get excited and re-energized about Porsche in St. Louis. The opportunity to celebrate this great brand will be a first time experience for many in St. Louis”.

The indiGO Auto Group has a history of rapidly accelerating sales growth and customer service with the dealerships it has acquired. IndiGO has earned both global and national awards, including Porsche’s highest honor of being recognized as a Porsche Premier Dealer.

“Our St. Louis customers can expect concierge style customer-service including residential pick-up and delivery year-round,” added Mr. Blue. “We’re focused on exceeding expectations at every turn.”

A life-long car enthusiast and collector, Mr. Blue currently serves on the Porsche Board of Regents which represents Porsche dealers nationwide. As a hands-on Dealer Principal in every community where his team does business, Mr. Blue is very clear when describing his five organizational certainties and he does so with commitment. “We prioritize continuous improvement, we passionately honor the heritage of the brands we represent, we maintain a consciousness for uniqueness and authenticity, we expect to exceed customer expectations, we embrace change and we work passionately to enlighten and activate customer ownership. It’s what we’re committed to every single day.”

IndiGO will relocate from the former Parktown Porsche facility. IndiGO Auto Group will host a party will and re-open as Porsche St. Louis Central at 9710 Manchester Road in St. Louis (in the former Exotic Motors Midwest Building) on July 1, 2015. Convenient for customers in Ladue, Clayton and all of Metropolitan St. Louis, this new temporary location will be within two miles of the previous Porsche dealership. James Drake, a luxury automotive veteran from St. Louis, joined indiGO several months ago in anticipation of this acquisition and has been named General Manager. Drake will personally attend to each customer’s needs during remodeling between now and the July 1st re-opening of the all new Porsche St. Louis Central.

“We are committed to providing a white glove sales and service experience for all St. Louis Porsche owners and enthusiasts, including during our temporary transition,” said Mr. Blue. “We have a full Porsche service loaner fleet and will provide a door to door pick-up and delivery experience for both sales and service.”

Mr. Blue has a special affinity for the people and city of St. Louis. His Grandparents (Aaron and Dodie Schucart) and Mother (Linda Schucart Blue) were born and raised in St. Louis. Mr. Blue spent many holidays and summers in the city over the course of his life. He said, “I’ve always been a St. Louis Blues hockey fan so returning to St. Louis will be special for me. My grandparents, as well as my Uncle, Rick Schucart, were in the shoe business here in St. Louis for over 70 years. I grew up visiting their store year after year. This community feels like home to me.”

While Porsche St. Louis Central will locate temporarily at 9710 Manchester Rd, a future state-of-the-art Generation Four Porsche facility will be constructed within 24 months. For more information on Todd Blue, indiGO Auto Group, or Porsche St. Louis Central, visit www.indiGOautogroup.com.
