DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global colocation solutions provider CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) announces Nobis Technology Group’s Ubiquity Hosting as a new customer and channel partner. Ubiquity Hosting, one of the fastest growing providers of dedicated cloud server solutions to businesses worldwide, is set to use CyrusOne’s Lombard, Ill., facility and take advantage of the CyrusOne National IX (Internet Exchange), which recently went online in Chicago to serve customers across CyrusOne’s facilities. This connectivity enables Ubiquity Hosting’s services to be available across CyrusOne’s data centers.
“The CyrusOne National IX breaks down the barriers of the existing one-site interconnection points to link together virtually every carrier, content company and cloud service provider across our multi-facility ecosystem. This enables our customers to reduce costs, increase resiliency, deliver improved service quality, and drive revenue by gaining access to more of their own clients,” said Fred Holloway, vice president of channel sales, CyrusOne.
Ubiquity Hosting serves as the infrastructure provider for the entire Nobis Technology network. Ubiquity Hosting offers a broad range of solutions, from shared Web hosting and public and private cloud to dedicated servers and colocation.
“CyrusOne is a natural fit. Along with access to our public and private cloud, we can offer our clients superior colocation services, including power, redundancy, and physical security. Additionally, through the National IX, we can have 24/7 access to multiple carriers through the network,” said Clint Chapman, Co-Founder and CEO of Ubiquity Hosting.
The CyrusOne Lombard data center is situated 20 miles west of downtown Chicago and is close to O’Hare International Airport. This facility boasts two diverse and redundant utility power feeds and an N+1 configuration on generator power. A high-speed, high-capacity network connection is available directly to downtown Chicago’s telecommunications hub, providing a strong network offering to accommodate customers with specific latency and/or replication needs.
