NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TransPerfect, the world’s largest privately held provider of language services and technology solutions, today announced that company-wide revenue totals for the first quarter were up nearly 10% relative to the same period in 2014, and up over 25% compared to Q1 2013. In addition, the company has created over 200 new full-time jobs so far this year.
Strong demand for the company’s GlobalLink translation management suite continues to be a primary driver of growth, with more than 100 new clients implementing GlobalLink technology in 2015. Organic growth within many of the company’s primary business units and practice groups—including life sciences, retail/e-commerce, finance, and legal solutions—was also a major catalyst for the positive overall results.
“There is nothing more important to us than helping our clients achieve their goals while also running a profitable business,” noted Co-CEO Liz Elting. “Our first-quarter results show that by being committed to those priorities, the results can be tremendously positive.”
Co-CEO Phil Shawe remarked, “After closing 2014 so strongly, we're extremely excited to be maintaining our company's positive momentum in the first quarter of 2015. We're also very fortunate to have many different business units and international operations contributing strongly to our growth, and we feel that bodes well for the remainder of the year.”
