BINGEN AM RHEIN, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Viprinet Europe GmbH, maker of internet bonding routers and hubs in Bingen am Rhein near Frankfurt, Germany, announced today that it has set up US headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. Its new location positions Viprinet to better reach customers in the Americas who need the resilient high-bandwidth connectivity that its hardware and software products deliver.
With its patented bonding technology, Viprinet enables customers to create high-security high-performance internet connections by aggregating multiple types of wired and wireless WAN connections, such as LTE, DSL, cable, satellite, and more.
SUNNYVALE A STRATEGIC US LOCATION
“The set up of our new US Headquarter represents a major step in our internationalization strategy,” says Simon Kissel, founder and CEO of Viprinet Europe GmbH. “Furthermore Silicon Valley is a strategic location and our presence alongside heavyweights like Google says we’re an innovative company that’s serious about expansion in the US.”
STRONG LEADER APPOINTED FOR A STRONG CHANNEL
Viprinet’s US team is led by John Nielsen, a former executive with Maersk who was responsible for large international IT projects. Nielsen said a strong partner channel is the chief go-to-market strategy for Viprinet Americas. “With partners who truly understand our technology and what it can do for customers, we’ll gain traction more quickly than going direct,” remarked Nielsen. He also said, “Customers get capacity that meets or exceeds that of the most expensive setups at a reasonable cost, simply by bonding together less expensive connections . . . if bonding DSL, ‘it's virtually turning copper into gold'. That’s disruptive.”
VIPRINET ADVANCING IN THE US AND CANADA
Established in Europe and the UK as the leader in bonding technology, with a renowned client portfolio, Viprinet has already advanced into key verticals in North America. Netmondi, a recent Viprinet channel partner, has won business with CBS Radio in Boston and CHIN Radio in Toronto, and numerous other clients. Netmondi CEO Anthony Faust says, “We’re thrilled to be a Viprinet partner. For customers broadcasting and streaming, connecting remote offices, or equipping First Responders, Viprinet succeeds where other technologies have tried and failed.”
Viprinet Americas will exhibit at Interop 2015 in Las Vegas and introduce the new 511 4G router, ideal for highly mobile applications like news and emergency response vehicles. Netmondi will exhibit and promote Viprinet at the Canadian Wireless Trade Show in Toronto this October.
Since 2006, Viprinet has been manufacturing innovative network components.
